“Choosing colour is something many people struggle with – there’s so much choice that it’s easy to get bamboozled,” says Irish architect and designer Denise O’Connor, who curated the colours of the MOOD collection for Alchemist Paint.
Designed for ambience
We created MOOD so our customers could not only have spaces that look amazing, but also feel a particular way.
“We wanted to encourage people to consider how they wanted to feel in their homes as the starting point for picking paint colours,” says Kate Gaynor, who founded and runs Alchemist Paint.
“A kitchen has a completely different atmosphere to a bedroom, for example. Our easy-to-follow system makes it easy for people pick colours based on how they want a room to feel.”
